Your word is your law
Keeping your word is extremely important to gain trust and confidence in business, relationships and life.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of keeping your word.
It is extremely frustrating to be around someone who does not practice your word is your law principle.
- They don’t show up on time
- They don’t call, when they said they would
- They don’ t do what they said they would
This is one of the main causes of my being single, because I cannot stand men who don’t keep their word.
Am placing the expectation outside of me, but I must because it has to do with other people.
My girlfriend says that it is too much, when it comes to accountability with me.
You also have to be cautious with yourself about keeping your word with yourself.
There is a reputation with yourself that you build or destroy based on the way you keep your word.
Not keeping their word is common and not only in South Asian people.
