Wisdom of the ages Zavia by Ashfaq Ahmed
Wisdom of the ages Zavia by Ashfaq Ahmed
If you are a true fan of Urdu literature and not just a rainy frog, you certainly must have heard about Ashfaq Ahmed, and read his beautiful and famous book based on him, Wisdom of the ages Zavia by Ashfaq Ahmed, otherwise, you can not call yourself a fan of Urdu literature as per! He gave Urdu literature a new head start that resulted in huge addition to his fandom! For his noteworthy services, he got Pride of Performance along with Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the government of Pakistan which easily shows his credibility!
This book, Zawiya completely comprises of spirituality lessons given by Ashfaq Ahmed which have been delivered by him on a TV channel profoundly, and it all is now in a book form. Although I saw his programs too in reality, the book is a lot more interesting to read for special people like me who love spirituality and otherworldliness and like to wander provocatively in such sort! From the book in one of his lessons, he told a memory that I must mention here.
Ashfaq Ahmed did write, ” We used to be in London, England and were there for wholly educational purposes. We were on rent there in the house of a woman who was divorced and living alone. We gave her money at the end of the month, used to call her “botion wali aunty”(means meat aunt) because when she cooked the food for us, took out most of the meat for herself and we had to remain on the other stuff! After many years I saw that lady in LAHORE when I was sitting and enjoying in a street and was astounded to see her in a bad situation….”
From that lively and thoughtful paragraph, you can get the insight yourself that this book is totally ..written by the ASHFAQ AHMED live experiences.
This book sincerely shines in this modern era as a perfect example of how to live with your ordinary self, going through each and everything just as a normal person does, but still commanding out a plethora of humane experiences, stating them in such a powerful and tempting way that the reader succumbs himself to the flow of the narration and doesn’t get loosen up until he has finished every word of the book! As it is done in this magical book.
Ashfaq Ahmed recounted his scrupulous experiences as an art of describing a spell to his fellow magicians who totally demand a more affectionate one, at the same time completely overwhelmed by it! Moreover, Ashfaq Ahmed talked about many critical topics of life where he beautifully labeled everything in such wisdom and astuteness that every soul praised him regarding the issues he raised on every possible ground. Some enlightenment can be put on through such sayings as below:
He often used to say in his talks where this book is compiled from that;
“Meri dua hai ke zindagi mein kabhi an kabhi aisa more zaroor aaye jab main mere pas batne ke liye khushiyan hon aur lene wala koi an bache, sab pehle see hi behtareen zindagi guzaar rahe hon. Mujhe ummeed hai ke Allah ta’ala mujh see ache kaam lega!”
That shows his optimistic approach towards life and how he sought the ways of sophistication and cultivation of human behavior for the betterment of society!
I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves to read books in the Urdu language. This book talks about humanity. The essential elements that we ignore in our everyday life. It exhibits around the sublime day-to-day events of the legendary Ashfaq Ahmed. This book really obtains some straightforward utterances that bring to us outstanding lessons.
This book changed my perspective towards life and the people around me. This aided me to develop the greatest and eternal faith in Allah Almighty.
This book is worthy enough to have the best place on your bookshelf.
Here is some is a glimpse of his soulful talks and delightful presence for the soothing of your mundane life.
