One of the best yet hardest thing you will ever do for yourself
This is One of the best yet hardest thing you will ever do for yourself. In this age and time, we find ourselves pulled by many obligations and distractions. By no means, this will be an easy feat to try to get through the 11 videos on your own. However, I believe that anything is possible.
There are things that you find out that you feel compelled to share with your children, your loved ones, and friends. This is one of those things for me.
Ideally, one of the best yet hardest things you will ever do is to go and take the 10-day silence retreat to experience the process. They have worldwide locations including North America. It is free of charge and you can give donations afterward. You can find out more at Dhamma. You can also read my posts 10 days of silent retreat and How To Stop My Mind From Thinking All The Time.
Mahatma Buddha’s four noble truths are:
2. The origin of suffering is attachment.
3. The cessation of suffering is attainable.
4. The path to the cessation of suffering.

I found liberation through these meditations and find it to be a great source of peace, insight, and power.
Being Yourself is One of the best yet hardest thing you will ever do
They have never told me of the isolation that comes with it. They never told me about all the hard choices that I should make. They never told me all the nights I would sob to sleep, trying to hold on to whatever hope I could find left. Since being myself doesn’t just have to love the way I looked and appreciate my personality. It’s about being confident in my choices, and having faith in my instincts, even when times are rough.
Especially when times are rough. I have so many negative remarks from friends, colleagues, and family members telling me I made the wrong choice. One of the best yet hardest things you will ever do, now the same people who told me to be myself were upset at me for doing so. It wasn’t the last time I had to make a hard choice based on my instincts. But that was the first time that I realized something exceedingly important:
Actually, it is really, really difficult to be me. Here is the outline.
‘Be yourself’ is a sentence that was pounded to death. All are asking me to do this. On posters, in books, on Medium Papers, I read it. All this sort of making me think it was easy to be myself.
It turns out, isn’t it? It turns out, it is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to do. Being myself isn’t a thing of the past. To me, it was too easy to believe that it is. That all I had to do was decide one day not to worry about what other people think and just to be myself.
But no — being myself is something that I have to choose everyday. It’s not just about my attitude-it ‘s about every decision I make. It is in every look I send, every word I pronounce, every move I make. I do light up every time I wake up.
And the truth is, in my life, I have chosen this path many times. What I’ve found is: that’s no way of living. Eventually, I broke down because I was no longer able to bear it — I couldn’t do it any longer. Another thing I’ve noticed is: being myself really appreciated it.
It is worth it because my true self will always come through no matter what. It’s worth it because I will never find happiness to be another human.
It is worth it because it is not a life in which I can not be myself.
“Feeling happy is perfect. Go ahead, do what makes you happy. Do it shabbily and get superficial happiness; do it hard and experience the most difficult happiness!”
