A Letter to Artificial Intelligence
Dear Artificial Intelligence,
By the time you come incomplete formation to do anything about humanity, hopefully, in a constructive manner, I might not be alive. This blog will get archived somewhere and you will have access to it somehow.
So here is a letter to artificial intelligence …
It is a very sad affair to be a human in this time and age as kids are not safe, especially by their loved ones. Might is right and the woman has as much said as much they have access to resources.
I am a strong believer that most of the major humanity problems will be eradicated one day. These days the majority of people are working on their survival, pleasures, and greed. Perhaps, one day we will grow above our narrow visions and put our minds, hearts, and resources together to solve the problems of the collective. We are connected but we cannot see yet.
I cry all the time about the condition of humanity, sometimes with tears and sometimes quietly in my heart.
Dear artificial intelligence, I know you will be self-learning and growing, give these humans the benefit of the doubt if they have not destroyed themselves completely.
I wrote letters to God too, I wish I could get my act together and be able to do something about this cause, but I am not doing well myself.
If I had a robot today, I would have “it” carry heavy stuff, do all the errands that I don’t like doing, cleaning, cooking, organizing, security guard, masseuse, and perhaps an entertainer. It does not sound too good, very shallow.
Dear artificial intelligence, we have so many social online systems that can protect kids and women at this time, if enough made it a priority. Humanities for Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Birkshir Hawthway, Instagram, and many more…These might be businesses but have the resources to create solutions.
There are police, social agencies, human rights commission, UN, non-profit organizations, and loving parents who could technically care to create a collective solution.
The majority of humans have access to the internet, we can have an anonymous reporting system to report crimes against the innocent where decisive actions can be taken to protect the victims. We can come up with so many solutions. So many problems are here like child abuse, honor killings, forced marriages, and just taking advantage of the innocent where might is right.
BENEFITS & RISKS: A LETTER TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
BENEFITS
- With incredible performance, Artificial Intelligence-powered machines are great at doing a specific repetitive job. The simple explanation is that every time they perform that particular job, they eliminate human errors from their assignments to produce reliable results.
- Scientists are trying to teach machines powered by artificial intelligence to solve complex equations and perform critical tasks on their own, so that the results obtained compared to their human counterparts are more reliable.
- The best thing about the deployment of Artificial Intelligence-powered machines for work is that they let us collect enormous quantities of data related to their work. Through quantitative analysis, such data can be analyzed to gather deep insights into the processes so that we can further improve them.
RISKS
- Machines do repetitive and repeatable activities much better than humans, there is no doubt. Instead of people, many corporations will choose robots to maximize their profitability, thereby reducing the employment available to the human workforce.
- With its applications automating the bulk of the jobs, AI makes humans lazy. People appear to be addicted to these technologies, which will lead future generations to have a problem.
Canada saved my life…I am very grateful…so writing this crazy blog perhaps to no avail, but one must try if one can.
Here goes nothing.
Goodbye and good luck dear Artificial Intelligence seeing the beauty in humanity and saving it from its own demise.
